If a fresh take on turn based combat combined with a smorgasbord of well-crafted RPG-elements sounds enticing, I'd say go for it. If a good story is the most important draw to you, this might not be for you. I'm not bothering with paying attention to the story very much. This game does so many other things incredibly well. The interaction between the characters is kinda cute though, and I'd say the PC's and NPC's have personality, and most importantly - the game oozes with style.

I'd say it's servicable, and pretty simple. Finally, all breakable walls I've found so far glow faintly brownish/"dustish". Turns out even hidden treasure chests turn up on the map (as long as you've got a dungeon map). I was worried I was missing out on breakable walls, and the goodies inside. Checked the manual but couldn't find anything.Įdit: Another tip on treasure chests in dungeons. Trying to compare some rings, some with +stamina and some with phys/magic def. absorb)? Crit/Haste/Evade shows you the percentage, but Phys and Magic def.

Furthermore, I thought CE and speed hack would be somewhat complicated / unstable, but it is super easy, stable, and makes the game more fun to play and less grindy (for me at least)īut enough about that. Someone in the Divinity 2 thread helped me with this, and after trying speed hack in single player RPGs I'm hooked. You can then go to "Settings" > "Hotkeys" to bind a hotkey for default speed (1.000), faster (1.5-2.0) and fastest (2.0+) (Just suggestions - do whatever you feel is appropriate, of course) It's very simple - you just start the game, open CE, load the process and tick "Enable Speedhack" to the right. If slow animations/run speed bother you I can recommend grabbing Cheat Engine and setting some hotkeys for default speed and faster speeds.
